The oats are washed and lightly roasted with dry heat to facilitate removing these two outer hulls easier. What's left is a whole grain groat with fiber-rich bran, a nourishing germ, which makes up the majority of the grain. Not only are they high in protein, but also in minerals and vitamins. Vegans like the natural, GMO-free nature of oat groats.
